Central Michigan University

Central Michigan University is a public institution founded in 1892 with an undergraduate enrollment of 20,500 on its Mt. Pleasant campus, another 7,000 enrolled online, and at more than 60 locations across the US, Canada, and Mexico.  CMU students earn bachelor’s degrees in more than 200 fields, masters, specialist, and doctoral levels including nationally recognized programs in business, neuroscience, engineering, psychology, entrepreneurship, information systems, sales, journalism, music, and physician assistant education.  CMU students earn more TERP10 certifications for SAP software than any other North American university.  Four CMU professors have been named Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching Michigan Professor of the Year, more than in any other Michigan school.  Since 2009, five CMU professors have been named Fulbright Scholars, teaching and conducting research throughout the world.  CMU is the nation’s foremost university authorizer of charter schools with 62 schools educating more than 30,000 students in grades K-12.
